Axel Moustache is a gifted actor born in Bucharest, Romania, with background experience in Theatre, Improv and Non-verbal Theatre Productions.
He is currently represented by Baumbauer Actors (Munich/London) and plays in a lot of German Productions for cinema or ARD, ZDF and SAT 1 Productions.
Axel plays in English, German, Italian, French or Romanian. For playing the Lead in the English Romantic Comedy Titus and Mirabella (2020), Axel was nominated for Best Actor at Lady Filmmakers Film Festival, Beverly Hills and Best Acting Duo at Oniros Film Awards, Italy. The Italian Alberto Lucchesi character, played in Der Fall Collini (2019) – The German blockbuster by Marco Kreuzpaintner – shows his dramatic power.
His breakthrough on the German Movie Market was set with Zielfahnder: Flucht in die Karpaten (2016), directed by the well known German director Dominik Graf. For his debut Film Der geköpfte Hahn (2007), he was nominated as The best Newcomer at Undine Awards Austria. The same year he receives The Awaited Generation Award in Romania.
